The information presented herein is a subset of a larger project initiated by Jeffrey B. LeClere, Christopher E. Smith, and Randy E. Blasus in preparation for the book: “A Field Guide to the Amphibians and Reptiles of North Dakota.”

Jeff LeClere is the primary author and photographer for the HerpNet.net North Dakota Herpetology website. At our auxiliary website, the North Dakota Herp Atlas, the public is encouraged to send reports of North Dakota amphibians and reptiles to help us create the most thoroughmaps possible for the upcoming book “A Field Guide to the Amphibians and Reptiles of North Dakota.”
